Thank you, thank you for all the comments at Adam’s blog today. You made a boy proud (and a momma too).
Last night, he and I had a sweet and cuddly time before he went to bed. I pretended to get all weepy and moaned, "Oh, Adam, please don’t turn ten!"
"Why not?" he asked
"Because," I mock-wailed, "ten is so grown-up! If you turn ten, what’s next?"
He looked at me matter-of-factly. "Um, eleven?"
Yep, he’s turning into a man, alright.
LOL At least he didn’t roll his eyes at you.
And to think I am mourning my son turning 3, I can’t imagine 10! 10 was a huge birthday to me when I was little.

my oldest is also turning 10 this summer. boohoo. it is a big deal!
My son will be 10 in April of 2008. I’m already dreading the day of double digits… it’s kinda sad that my baby boy is growing up, but it is rewarding at the same time to get to watch him grow. One thing is certain… we need to cherish each moment with them… each and every one!
Got a 10 year-old boy myself and it’s not a bad thing š
Have a great year with him.
Just wait…13 is only 3 more years. Then there is 16 followed all too soon by 21. I’m on my 4th teenager my youngest is 15. They grow up way too fast but you have lots of time to make some great memories.
Dang it if 11 doesn’t come next! I hate that … it sometimes seems like 8 should come next.
Thanks for a peek into my future! My daughter is 6 and my son is almost 4 and reading your son’s blog gave me a taste of what I have to look forward to. : ) And it made me smile. : )
Love it. It sounds like you got a great kid there.
I am confident that you will enjoy your kids more and more every step of the way. š
