But She Did Not Ask For Help — This Ain’t New York THIS IS A MUST READ!
Anticipating Needs — Raising Five (this is the mom I want to be when I grow up)
Pachelbel Bedtime — YouTube — DO NOT MISS THIS! (Hat tip to Jane)
Cottage Of the Month (this site features, well, a cottage each month. And they’re absolutely darling–darling, I tell you, but I have to enjoy them vicariously through this site. If I were to decorate this femininely, my Hubs would positively shrivel up and die.)
That video was so funny. Thanks for the entertainment!
I love, love, love the Pachelbel Bedtime video. Funny, cute then sweet.

Cute video!
If had a cottage that feminine I would be be the one who would shrivel up and die!Cute but just a little over the top.
Thank you for the link, Shannon. You are so kind.
Thanks for the links. That one about the little girl was eye-opening.
I don’t know how you find this stuff! They were all great! I’ve seen the Cottage of the Month before and I love it. But my hubby, like yours, would lie twitching on the floor drooling if I decorated like that.
Thanks for the links!
Hey Shannon, the feeling is mutual – if only I could be half the FUN mom you are! Thanks for the link – so glad I’m on this journey with you, my friend!
The cottage is preetty, but I was thinking the rooms were too much of a good thing…too feminine, too white. I’d feel as if I was floating, with no place to ‘focus’. As I was looking at the pictures, I’m thinking it needs a touch of black to ‘anchor’ the rooms. Then, there were the black counter tiles and the black dining set!
I think most of us reach a happy compromise between feminine and masculine when it comes to decor!
I second your recommendation for “But she did not ask for help” – that is absolutely a must-read. Wow.
Love Katherine’s blog. I found her through your page a while back. She is the real deal!
That Pachebel was great 🙂 I have a boy, not girls, but hey, it rings true any way!
