Thanks for this thread. I’ve been looking for some high quality political blogs.
I skim my husband’s political blog daily: thegooddemocrat.wordpress.com
I also read the Council of Fifty: http://counciloffifty.com/
Other than that, so far I’ve just followed the news myself.

POTUS ‘o8 on XM (what did I do before XM? Truly?…POTUS and E! all there for me, all the time-life is good. :))
I don’t read a lot of political blogs. I’m news junkie enough-blog reading is my ‘vacation’ time. LOL

The Anchoress, Instapundit, Pajamas Media, National Review Online. Those are my favorites for news and politics. (I won’t list the URLs again, since you have most of them already.)

I’m a political science prof, so I read a pretty wide variety to keep up with everything and to get a balanced perspective. Good ones are Politico.com’s blogs, dailydish.typepad.com, The Note on ABC, and Mark Halperin’s blog on Time.com. Real Clear Politics is also useful as an aggregator of political news.

This isn’t a political blog per se, but many of the posts revolve around politics. It’s fairly new & updated once a week, so easy to catch up on.

    I read Politics for Moms
    http://politics4moms.blogspot.com/
I like this blog because it is truly impartial and I appreciate the mission of the writer – to not endorse any candidate but rather be a resource for moms to be educated about what is going on politically so that they can make informed decisions.
