"Would You Rather Your Children Grow Up In Uganda Or America?" — FlowerDust
Just Go To Helvetica — Newsweek
Writers Blog Til They Drop — NY Times. Wrong. Just wrong.
The Cactus Cuties Sing the National Anthem — YouTube. My word! You will get cold chills! (Hat tip to Jenny.)
That first link is amazing! Thanks for sharing!
I’ve seen the Cactus Cutie link before. I gleefully watched it again tonight. It was A.MA.ZING again. Dang, those kids can not only sing, but HARMONIZE!!! Wow.
I drew my own conclusions from that “Writers Blog Til They Drop” article, over here at The More, The Messier
I hope I did that link right – I’m still learning.
I did! It worked!
The death by blogging article is interesting. Of course, if they shut blogs down from 8 p.m. to dawn, the Mom blogs would be no more! They certainly don’t “get” this slice of the blogworld…
Thanks for posting the Typo Hunt link. In the past, my jobs required a lot of proofreading. It seems like my eyes are drawn to typos in things other people write – whether it is a book, newspaper, letter from a friend etc.
Now that doesn’t mean the grammar and spelling on my blog is always correct. I confess I don’t always re-read what I’ve written…
Snnnnnneeeeeeerkkkkkkkkk…
“I’m going around the country fixing typos.”
Now THAT’S a mission statement! A cause worth pursuing!
C R A C K M E U P, thanks for the link.
I heard that about bloggers writing until they drop on the news last week…weird!
Here’s my links this week…

TEAL? Great idea! Could they come to my church? I mean, I know these people are typing out stuff for our video display out of the kindness of their hearts, but directing the sweet, innocent children to Chaple lacks the usual reverence.
I had also seen the Cactus Cuties before, and searched the net for more of them. This is their BEST. And it is amazing.
oh . . . and if I see that you’ve crossed “Atlas Shrugged” off of your reading list, you will be “the man.”
In my “little known facts” page, #13 is: “I can’t finish the book Atlas Shrugged. I’ve tried. Can’t do it.”
