Remember Ashleigh, who wrote a guest post here about what it’s like having a husband deployed in Iraq? We’ll, he’s safely home now, and she’s made a beautiful video about their journey here.
And as if that’s not enough joy, remember Molly, who guest posted about the grief of losing her daughter? Today she’s the happy momma of a precious new baby boy, Morrow. You can read the details here.
I’m just a puddle of happy tears for these sweet women.
Ashleigh’s video was amazing. I’m off to read Molly’s great news!
God. Is. Good.
I’ve been a big fan of your blog for some time…. Delurking to say Thank You for the great links. What an amazing way to start the day. Though after watching Ashleigh’s video, I am glad the day hasn’t yet involved mascara! Great stuff! Thanks so much…
What a great way to start the day! Thanks for sharing the happy news!
What exciting news for Molly and Abraham and Orison! Thanks for letting us know.
Wonderful news on both counts!
And I have some of my own to share with you. I don’t know if you remember some months ago when you emailed me after I left a comment about my miscarriage on your blog (the one where you talked about losing your first baby as well). Well I am happy to tell you that 11 months later…I’m finally pregnant again. I’m overjoyed, as you can imagine!
Just a reminder: never watch the video or read the posts after you’ve done your mascara & are minutes from walking out the door to go to church!!! Thank you for the unique way you show your love & care for people.
Praise God for both!!
Thank you so much for introducing these amazing women. It’s a joy to see the way God has taken care of them!
Oh, thanks so much for the update. That is so wonderful and just what I needed today!!
Wow – thanks so much for updating us…this is just amazing to read!
Thank you so much for sharing their stories, so we can also share their joys.
So glad to hear the good news!
Happy tears, indeed. Wow!
I lost my son 13 years ago, and then a year later we welcomed our little girl. It was so amazing to hold her in my arms! Katie never replaced Christopher, but she made my heartache go away just a little tiny bit. Plus she was a hugger, and that helped!
I have a post up on grief when you lose a child, too. It was a column that I published several years ago, and to this day it’s still the one with the record emails back.
I think we’re all going to need Kleenex after all of this!
Visit To Love, Honor and Vacuum today!
Did you see the reason for Morrow’s name? It’s on John Piper’s blog.
Tears.
