The TCOT has so taken off!!! And I am glad to see WSJ is bringing attention to tweets.
Thank you for the link to the generosity project. I was deeply moved.
Also, on a less important note, thanks for the link to ThinkGeek. I check the site regularly, but had missed this marvelous creation from geekdom.
Oh the berating I would hear from my plants with that little thingy.
Phew!
I can add another use for hairspray:
When we were living in our newlywed cottage, the house was treated for termites. Two days later, they started coming out of the ceiling vents (alive)!! We swathed the vents in leftover wedding tulle (figuring the holes in the tulle would keep the air flowing), and this mostly worked, but some littler bugs were still wriggling through the holes. Hairspray to the rescue! Several coats of hairspray sealed in the holes and we left those things up until all the termites were gone.
I know, this will probably be of no help to anyone else reading this blog, but it shows the versatility of hairspray. :~)
Wow. That Geek link. Wow.
the last thing i need are plants that complain about dinner too! ugh.
As an English major, I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the link to the Speech Accent Archive. Is it sad that I just spent half an hour over there and am considering making my kids listen, too? 🙂
I saw an ad on ABC Family today for a new show called “Cranberry Christmas” (or something like that). Two new Christmas songs will be introduced in the show and they’re sung by Barry Manilow. The show is airing tomorrow night (Monday, 8 Dec. 2008) at 7:30/6:30 CST.
I’m sure that a bazillion people have already told you, but I thought of you when the his name was announced in the commercial and wanted to be sure you don’t miss it. 🙂
I was excited to see that you are speaking at Blissdom! Jo-Lynne and I booked our flights on Saturday. As seen as SheSpeaks, you really engage the listener and know how to share what you know without ever talking down to anyone. Thank you for all you do.
