This Just In…

Would you like to see the text message that buzzed my phone at 2 o'clock this morning?

Cell

I have happy-danced around this kitchen until I can't happy-danced another step (the story is here, if you're just tuning in).  Seems to me the best way to celebrate would be to throw some things in a suitcase and hop on an airplane for Ethiopia so I can get my hands on my little niece.  That's just a bit impractical, I guess, but how perfect is it that I already had a sweet giveaway scheduled for today?  Now it feels like a birthday party!  And it's even more perfect that's from a company that celebrates what is beautiful and sentimental about families:  Lisa Leonard Designs.

I'm sure you've seen her jewelry–her gorgeous designs are everywhere these days, and for good reason.  They are classic, elegant and completely customizable.  This is one of my favorites:

LLbloom

I love this one, too–actually, I have this one myself, with my four kids' initials, and it's a wardrobe staple:

LLinitials

These necklaces would make a good Valentine's Day gift, too.  Need some help with this?  Leave up this blog post and walk away casually.  I'll handle the rest:

Megaphone2

(You're welcome.)

But maybe you won't have to wait that long, because Lisa has graciously offered to give TWO readers here a $50 gift certificate.  In order to win, simply pop over to Lisa Leonard Designs, look around, and come back here to leave a comment saying how you'd spend your gift certificate.  (If you want to do a happy dance on behalf of my sweet new niece, then you get extra points.  Okay, not really, but you'd make me smile.)

Please, only one entry per person, and only people with US or Canadian mailing addresses are eligible to win.

Carnival Many thanks to Lisa Leonard–and all of you–for helping me celebrate this special day!  For more giveaways than you could possibly know what to do with, head over to the Bloggy Giveaways carnival.  It will make your head spin, but it sure is fun.

COMMENTS ARE NOW CLOSED.

I’m torn between the teenie tiny initial and the itty bitty hearts necklaces.
All of the stuff is beatifully simplistic. Even if I don’t win, I think I’m may purchase something anyway. But I’d love the chance to get it for FREE!!

  2. Amy @ By His Grace says:

How great that they have made it to Ethiopia and have their baby! Can’t wait to hear more. I love the “name” rings. I’ve already put a bug in Husband’s ear for Valentines. Thanks Shannon and Lisa for the giveaway!

  3. Lari says:

My favorite is the tiny squares necklace. I’ve already told my hubby I want one for mother’s day…baby boy #4 is due in March and we’re still working on names.

  4. Pam @ Without Fear says:

I love the “bloom” that you pictured more than anything else I’ve seen in my frequent trips to Lisa’s site.
I’ll even forgive you my pet peeve of the redundant “2 am in the morning” since you were so excited about your precious niece.
Can’t wait to hear more as you have updates!! So exciting. Going off to do the happy dance now with my Sweetcheeks!! Have a wonderful day.
Did the rituals work for a snow day?

  5. Teri from Indiana says:

This is going to sound a little strange, I would get the single dog tag necklace, have our foster baby’s name on it & give it to his birth mother. I can’t go into details because of confidentiality rules but I think she needs this right now.

  6. Amber says:

I love the word of the year necklace. I would do the word Hope. We’re not doing Valentine’s gifts this year because I got laid off from work, but I’m going to hint around about this site for my birthday. 🙂

  7. Traci Best says:

Without a doubt I would spend $50 (and then some!) on an “Itty Bitty Heart Necklace… I would get a D,B,H for my kiddos on a 24” chain and the pearl I think. I LOVE IT! LOL…

  8. Jill says:

What joy! Praying for your new little family member.
I’m not sure what I would do; choose a gift or something for myself… it is such lovely stuff!

  9. Karen says:

I would love the Itty bitty heart necklace with my three girls initials on it.
Loved seeing the text message on your phone. My parents still have theirs saved from when we sent a very similiar message in late April last year…:-)

  10. Sarah at themommylogues says:

I LOVE the tiny squares necklace! I’ve been dying for some hand stamped jewelry.
I did get a little misty over your text. Even though I don’t know them, it’s an amazing thing to think that a family was brought together last night — just beautiful!

  11. Tanna says:

I am so doing a happy dance for your family!
I would have to go with the teenie tiny initials necklace. I have wanted something with my kids initials for so long, this would be perfect.

  12. Leigh says:

    Yay for your new niece!
I would spend the $50 on the “Live Fully” necklace for my friend who’s FINALLY graduating college in May. Not that she already doesn’t live life fully, but it never hurts to have a reminder.

  13. Deborah says:

I like the word of the year necklace. I have a friend battling cancer, and when I saw “courage” I thought of her. I already have one of Lisa’s necklaces – love it! – and I’d wear it more often if my 11 month old didn’t try to grab it every chance she gets. 🙂

  14. Anne N. says:

I would use the gift certificate on the Oval Monogram necklace…so cute. Thanks for the chance to win.

  15. Janna says:

Um, any of it? I like either the Find joy necklace or the Breast Cancer Awareness necklaces.
Congrats on the niece! I know it will be even more wonderful for you once she is finally home!

I like the mini open circle necklace, thought it would be REALLY hard to choose just one! Good thing Valentine’s Day is coming up. 🙂

  17. Erin says:

What great news to start off your day!
Lisa has so many great pieces that it is hard to narrow it down. Some of my favorites are the oval monogram necklace, lovebird necklace and the sparkle necklace.

  18. Sarah Smith says:

Ok, I want one of everything! I’m emailing this link to my husband right now! 🙂
But, If I won the gift card, I’d buy the “True Love” necklace.

  19. Michelle says:

i just spent 20 minutes pouring over these sweet, simple designs. i think i finally decided that my favorite is tiny squares with my two kidlets names on them. love it, love it! shannon, congrats on your niece! can’t wait to hear how she’s doing.

  20. Carla says:

I really wanted the itty bitty heart necklace for Christmas, but hubby didn’t get my ‘slightly subtle’ hints – hopefully he’ll get a clue for Valentine’s Day – or with a little help for rocksinmydryer…

  21. Nikki says:

Woo hoo! What great news! We’re still hoping someday to do the same… but we have to get #3 out of my womb first before we can focus on adding more. 🙂
I love the “wish necklace”… though all of her designs are just beautiful!

  22. Tammy says:

I almost cried when I saw the True Love necklace, that is perfect in every way. Congrats on the new addition to your family. The story you posted the other day was very moving and inspiring.

  23. Allison says:

I love the Mini Open Circle Necklace, but I love so much else too! Hard to decide.
I cried when I saw your text message. I have 2 kids from Russia so I know the joy that they are feeling.

  24. rhonda says:

I love the teenie tiny initials…if I don’t win, i may get it for MYSELF for V-day
And not to brown nose or anything, but i was thrilled to see your text!!!

  25. Tonia says:

I’m so Happy about your new neice, what a nice way to celebrate.
I loved the “Finding Joy Design” and the “Tiny Squares”. All the designs are wonderful.

  26. Megan says:

oh i would get the itty bitty heart necklace with 3 tags – one for my hubs (S) one for my son (D) and one for my girlie (N)… is it weird to put your own inital on there?! (M)
I hope I win – I could use some cheering up!

  27. Melizzard says:

    Congratulations Aunt!!!
Ohh and thanks for the inspiration I just sent my husband an email telling me what he just bought me for my birthday next week. (The same one you have)
I would totally buy these for all my girlfriends as presents.

  28. Jennifer R. says:

I’m happy dancing with you. How exciting!
As for the gift certificate, there are so many good things to choose from! I might go with the “Word of the Year” necklace, the “Family Tree” necklace, or the “Open Circle” necklace. I might even be nice and get the “Shine Brightly” necklace for my daughter… as long as she lets me borrow it sometimes. 🙂 Thanks for the give-away and congratulations!

  29. Kara @ Me-Moddy says:

The teeny tiny initials are adorable and I would love to tote my 2 babies initials on there that also came to me through adoption. I am totally doing a happy dance for your niece being “gotten” by her mommy and daddy. Can’t lie – little lump in the throat formed when I saw that phone’s sweet message. Ahh. I love adoption stories. Warms my heart through and through!!! God is good.

  30. Aimee says:

What wonderful news! And, we get to all celebrate! I adore Lisa’s jewelry and am wearing my LL necklace right now, in fact! The choice would be so hard…I think I’d get the tag keychain and the freshwater pearl earrings (to go with my necklace!). Or, I’d be uber-generous and get a spoon each for two new babies I know. (Those make the MOST wonderful baby gifts, BTW).

  31. Linda Sue says:

The family tree jewelry for a friend – she does the most amazing ministry as well as homeschool her 3 kids – I’d love to give her something beautiful and meaningful. Thank you for the chance and goodness yes about the happy dance part – what JOY it is for a loving family to be reunited (’cause we know their hearts were already family just the bodies needed to be together in one place!)

  32. MommaChelle says:

Wow!!! My stomach did a flip when I saw the pic of your text message. As an adoptive mom, I just love stories of how families came to meet their newest additions. I can’t stop tearing up. 🙂
I love the “tiny squares” necklace. Actually, I haven’t done any personalized jewelry since we adopted our younger son. (Poor second child is going to have that “where’s all of my baby stuff” syndrome. lol)

  33. Brandy says:

I think I would get the teenie tiny initials, I have never really seen her jewelery before, but I think my wallet might be a little lighter already.
    Congradulations on your new neice.

  34. MaryBeth @ FourSillySisters says:

Congratulations on adding to your family! Can’t wait to hear more about your precious neice in the days to come.
I love the petite original circles, but I’ll have to put a little more than the $50 towards my necklace if I win to get all four of my girls on there! Thanks for the chance!

  35. Amber says:

I just really got into your reading your blog yesterday and saw that you were waiting for that text message, so when I saw it today on here, I got chills!!! How exciting!!!
As for the jewelry, I love the Family Tree one! I also love the Itty Bitty Hearts Necklace as well. Awesome stuff!

  36. sandy says:

There are several that I like. But I would find one that I can have all 8 of my kids either names or initials on.
Wonderful news. I get so excited when someone’s joy of having a child gets to come true. I will look more on your blog for some other news on it. Congrats to them! Safe travels home.

  37. Lisa says:

Happy Dance for your sweet new niece!
I love the the “a little bird told me” necklace ~ because my kids always want to know how I know what they’re up to… Gotta have that.

  38. Kelly says:

Praise the Lord for your new niece!
I would go for the “Find Joy Necklace” and the “Tiny Squares” necklace with my kids names.

  39. Jen C says:

I think the tiny squares with extra squares for each child would be lovely.
And congrats on the new niece! 3 families in our church have adopted from Ethiopia.

  40. Erica M says:

Ooo. I’ve looked through her things before, and I like all of them! But, today, that Bloom one in your tops pictures strikes my fancy!
Congratulations on the new niece!!! I’ll do the happy dance with you! 🙂

  41. Kristen M. says:

I didn’t have to look too far. The featured necklace for January is a heart with the word “courage” – my cousin by marriage lost her 5 yr old daughter this week (after a weary battle with cancerous brain tumors). I can’t think of a better person to wear that design.

  42. tonya says:

I love the teenie tiny initials necklace and her jewelry. It is so beautiful.
Congratulations on the new addition to your family. Adopting a child is one of my desires! So I can’t wait to hear all about the whole process!

  43. Teresa says:

I like the bloom necklace…and the simple bird necklace…and everything else. Thanks for the giveaway. They are so much fun.

  44. Rachel says:

I would get the stackable rings. I haven’t been able to wear my wedding ring since I had babies and hubby has been dragging his feet about resizing or getting a new one. These would be so cute. webb dot rachel at gmail dot com

  45. Louise says:

I would want either the baby spoon for our #2 coming in May, or the single tag necklace for myself! Hey … Mommies need baby gifts too, right?
Congratulations on your new niece. What a wonderfully joyous and exciting time for your family!

  46. The Nester says:

I’m thrilled for you sister–and you!
Love Lisa’s stuff–if I win give it to your sister because I already have two pieces of her wonderful work and I adore them!

  47. Melanie says:

Yippee!! regarding your new niece! Congrats to the entire family!

  50. Kent says:

I’d spend it on my mom–the wire charm bracelet with the heart and circle charms. It is classic and different at the same time. thanks for the give-away and CONGRATS on the new niece!!

  51. Paula says:

First of all, I am sooo happy for you and your family! What exciting news!
Second, I love, love, love lisa leonard. I’ve been sharing her beautiful designs for a few months since I discovered her!
I would have a really hard time choosing…I love the bloom necklace but also the original circle necklace with my 3 boys’ names.
Thanks for the opportunity to win, and I hope you get to shower your niece with kisses soon!

  52. Sandy S. says:

Love teenie tiny initials….I mean LOVE IT:)
So happy to hear that your bro and SIL have her! What a sweet and exciting moment for all of your family!

  54. Amy says:

I love the tiny squares and itty bitty hearts! I have a necklace like this on my personal wish list already, but winning would be even better! THANKS!
Did you get a snow day?

  55. Sincerely Anna says:

Yay! I’m doing a happy dance for you too! I bet you can’t wait to plant a million kisses on your niece’s cute little cheeks. Congratulations!

  56. Carrie @ Three-Girl Circus says:

What an awesome text message….definitely one I would not mind getting at 2am!
Oh, and I love the subtle message to my husband…I’ve had my eye on one of the little initial necklaces for a long time!
Oh, and I’ll holding my breathe with excitement to see a picture of your new niece!

  57. Kendra says:

I also love the teenie tiny initials. We just found out last week that #3 is on the way and this would be a great way to celebrate our new addition as well as your new niece. Congratulations to your family!

  58. Lori L. says:

Congratulations on the wonderful new addition to your family!
I love the itty bitty hearts necklace…along with everything else!

  59. Jamie G says:

i love the word of the year (new design) and would probably have “pray” or “breathe” as my word…….congrats on your sweet new baby niece –

  60. Jessica says:

Actually when I saw the Bloom necklace pictured on your blog my heart skipped a beat (which almost killed me because it was pounding from all the happy dancing I was doing!) and I instantly fell in love. So I would have to say if I won I would probably put my gift certificate towards that. But I also really love the monogrammed oval necklace as well and so I may be torn and have to put my certificate towards that and chip in a little more. So pretty.

  61. Kathy says:

What a great day for your family! God’s blessings to each of you.
Love the cuff and the teeny tiny initials.

  62. Sheila says:

I am so glad that they have her. I don’t have time to look at the giveaway stuff right now, but wanted you to know how happy I am for your new niece and family. God bless you!

  63. It Feels Like Chaos says:

I love the Wish Necklace and the Teeny, tiny initials necklace — so sweet! I also love that you shared that text msg. I do not even really know your family, but I can’t help but celebrate the wonderful blessing for your family to have a new little girl to love and for that baby girl to have a family that will love her every day for the rest of her life! Oh, it gives me goosebumps!

  64. RIchael says:

What great news, thanks for keeping us updated. I would love the tiny initials one. Thanks for the giveaway.

  65. Julie D says:

First of all, congratulations on the newest family member! My eyes welled with tears when I saw the text and for a moment I thought it was a little crazy since I don’t know you and am less familiar with your siblings. Isn’t it amazing how tiny love can have such a huge impact? I look forward to hearing more of her story. I just said a prayer for them for safe travels back.
Secondly, awesome giveaway! I love the word for the year, but my word this year is intentional and doesn’t fit the letter count. I suppose I would have to make a difficult decision between bloom and Love with your whole heart.

  66. Holly @ Crownlaiddown says:

I am so HAPPY for your family!! What a blessing! YAY Jesus!!
Praising Him with you this day.
And I love the mini open circle one–I can picture holding each name and praying over my children every day. How beautiful Lisa’s jewelry is!

  67. Karen F. says:

I love her stuff . . . and her blog!
I would love to get the itty bitty hearts necklace . . . here’s to dreaming!
And congrats to your expanding family! It was almost 3 years ago that we expanded our family in a hot, muggy, cramped room in China . . . worth every moment and every struggle to wake up to that sweet smile every morning since then!

  68. Rose Atwater says:

I think I’d get the “Bloom” necklace or the “True Love” necklace. They’re all so adorable!

  69. Mommy, the Human Napkin says:

I love the stackable rings! I think I’d probably get something for my sister, though. She’s in the hospital right now after a biopsy of some spots in her lungs to see if her cancer has returned, so I think the “Word of the Year” necklace would be good for her, but I’m not sure yet what word I’d put on it. When she had her first surgery to remove a tumor last year, she said her “Word” was SRSLY. Maybe I’d put that on it!

  70. KayKay says:

    Congratulations to your sister!
The necklaces are beautiful. It would be hard to choose, but I think I’d select the hearts with initials.

  71. Jana says:

I like the tiny squares necklace and the original necklace. I have been wanting something with both of my girl’s names on it, and these would be perfect. Thanks for the giveaway!

    killlashandra at hotmail dot com

  75. Cousin Amy says:

I got chillbumps when I saw this post, then did my own happy dance. Yea! I’m anxious to meet that sweet baby girl, as I know you are.
I love Lisa’s jewelry–can’t decide between the teeny tiny initials and the tiny squares.
Thanks for the update and the giveaway–can’t wait to hear more from R and LA.

  77. Angie says:

I love the cuff bracelets!! It would be for me… my gift to myself.. my hubby always forgets Valentines Day. One year I got a really cheesy foil wall decoration… Just to be a brat I make sure that I put over my mantle every year. Just as a reminder.

  78. Becky says:

I like the single tag necklace best. (I like the initial ones too, but all my children’s initials are THE SAME, boring for jewelry.

  79. Holly says:

For me, I love the bird necklace, but since I hope to get something like this for my best friends birthday I would go for the teenie tiny initials

  80. Nyla-Jean de Boer says:

Congratulations on a new niece! I had a look and I would order the Open Circle with all the kids’ names (five of them) for our dear babysitter, Chelsea. She is a gem! Blessings! Nyla-Jean

  81. Mary ~ 4boys4me says:

Congrats on becoming an aunt (again?)!
Lisa’s designs are beautiful. The tiny squares or initials are my faves but I might choose to get a keychain for dh instead… or maybe I could do both. 😀

  82. Becky Jo says:

I am happy dancin’ with ya! Praise God – so happy for your family 🙂
I am torn between the teeny tiny initials and the pink ribbon … So many choice that I HOPE I will have to make!

  83. Sarah says:

They are all so beautiful. I think I have narrowed it to either the wish necklace or the sweet simple bird necklace.
    Congratulations on your niece.

  84. Runningamuck says:

I’m doing a happy dance!! So excited for your brother, his wife and this precious little girl…
    As for the giveaway…
I’m having a hard time deciding between the Itty Bitty Hearts, Teenie Tiny Initials and True Love Hearts necklaces. But I’d choose one of those three. =0)

  85. kelsie says:

do i have to choose? the wish necklace is beautiful, but i may have to go with the family tree necklace. although…i may have to wait a couple months to put the names on it. we may be expecting our second child!! 🙂
congratulations on your niece! we wish your family the best.

  86. Lauren says:

Congratulations on your new niece! I hope you get to see her soon. As for the giveaway, I love the teenie tiny initials. Or maybe the riveted flower. Or even the freshwater pearl earrings. There is just too much to choose from!

  87. Peggy says:

I love the bloom necklace. Although, if I win, I’ll probably get my daughter something with the names of her children on it.

I’d love the Mini Open Circle Necklace to celebrate the arrival of my baby girl sometime in the next 6 weeks!!!
    princesslimey (at) gmail (dot) com

  89. A&EMom says:

I’m all teary from the text… so special.
I don’t know if I’m capable of deciding which necklace I love the most, but my favorites (this second) are the initial one you pictured above, tiny hearts, and rivited flower, and…

  90. Tammy says:

I love all the Lisa Leonard designs, but the one I have had my eye on for quite awhile now is the Orignial Necklace. I’m due to have my baby soon, and I would get her name on it. 🙂
Congrats on your new neice! 🙂

  91. lomagirl says:

Yeah for a new baby in the family. May the blessings continue in her life.
We’re celebrating today because my five and a half year old had a colonoscopy with good results. And she is such a trooper, I’d have to get the Courage pendant.

  92. Terry says:

Congrats to your family! I love the Lisa Lenoard necklaces. I think I would have to choose Find Joy, but there is not one in the bunch that I wouldn’t be happy with.

  93. Beth says:

I am thinking about the baby spoon. Our fourth is almost 10 months old and he loves spoons!!! I think he would love having one of his very own.
I also love the keychain – I would love to have my kid’s names on one – as a reminder to pray for them when I’m driving around town!

  94. Amy says:

I just got goosebumps all over while reading your post. WooHoo!!
As far as Lisa’s designs, I would ignore good giving manners and purchase something for myself! I love the open circle design, but the sweet simple bird necklace makes me swoon.

  95. Kellie says:

I love the Lovebird Necklace! It is so cute! I also love the itty bitty hearts necklace, and would love to put my daughters initial on there.

  96. Julie says:

Congratulations on your new niece!!! I know you cannot wait to get your hands on her.
If I were to win the $50 gift certificate, I would use it to buy a necklace for my niece who is expecting her first child, a boy, in June. There are so many cute designs its hard to choose which one but I think she would like the Petite Original Circle.

  97. Deborah says:

    Congrats!!!
I would use the gift certificate to get the mini circles neckace with the names of my kids on it.

  98. Mandi says:

Oh wow, what an exciting day!!!!! I love it!
And oh my word, I LOVE the “Find Joy” necklace. That’s been my mantra this year, especially with tough times! I love love love it!!!!!

  99. Magi says:

I just wanted to congratulate you on your new niece. As someone who has adopted internationally, I know the roller coaster ride well. I wouldn’t trade one moment of the time I’ve had with my daughter. I wish your family an easy trip home and an easy adjustment once home.

  100. World's Greatest Mommy says:

I love the family tree necklace. What beautiful and elegant designs.
I’m so excited for your family and this new added blessing. We’ll look forward to sweet stories and pictures of your niece!
(I did a little bit of the Running Man in celebration, just for you. Hoping my neighbors didn’t see 🙂

  101. Candace says:

    Yay for a new niece!
I would give the gift certificate to my husband and make him buy me the love bird necklace, or I would try not be selfsih and get my mom the itty bitty hearts necklace. Maybe both!

  102. Kristi K says:

I have a Lisa Leonard!! LOVE IT! It is the mama necklace. My Gyno/OB comments on it every visit!
I would love to have another or two or three!!

  103. Melene says:

Definitely the Lovebird Necklace. That is my husband’s pet name for me-it started back when we were dating and had to write letters to each other while he was deployed.
I’m so happy about your family’s newest addition!

I’d love just about anything on the website! She does beautiful work.
(happy, happy dance for your niece… what wonderful news!!)

  105. Betsy says:

Oh, honestly, I like them all! If I had to choose, I’d choose the one with each of my kids’ initials on it. Or maybe the “January Featured Design” with the word “Family” on it. I can’t decide…
And, I’m ‘happy dancing” in honor of your new niece!

  106. Kim says:

I would have to go with the teenie tiny initials as I’m crazy about initials. I love the extra feminine pearl detail. Seems like I’ve seen this in Chasing Fireflies catalog and I admired it then.
My cousin just brought home (in Dec) her first child from Ethiopia (winterinethiopia.blogspot.com). It’s been a journey!

  107. Jessica says:

Oh, I’ve entered a contest for a beautiful Lisa Leonard piece several months ago and I was so disappointed that I didn’t win. So, I’m really hoping this is my blessed day.
If I got a gift certificate I would love to have the teeny tiny initials. And if I don’t win, I’m totally sending my husband this link.
Thanks (and Lisa Leonard’s site is getting hammered right now!!)

  108. celina says:

oooh i so want to see these necklaces, i cannot get her site to load..i’m guessing you’ve flooded her..lol…
i like the one you have…and i like the idea of a keychain…..hopefully this can still count as an entry………

  109. Mel says:

ok I could not get the link to work but i love love the initals one you have on your blog…
Let me just say that I am doing a happy dance, today (1/26/09) is Gotcha Day in our house…it is the day my two youngest blessings came home forever!!! Congrats congrats to your family!!

  110. Allison says:

I can’t get the website to load…I think we overwhelmed it a bit!!
I have been wanting a necklace with the initials of my kiddos on it. From the picture on your post, and the comments already submitted, I don’t think I’d have any problem finding one. Sounds like she does beautiful work!
What an exciting time for your family! I’m sure you were so relieved and thrilled to receive that text!

  111. Kel says:

I have a Lisa Leonard necklace and wear it all the time. I always get compliments on it. I would love to have another piece or two from her. Maybe the bloom or bird or…:)
So excited for your brother and his family! As an adopted kid myself, I always love heaing about other adoption stories.

  112. Laury Hoganson says:

I don’t have to go look at her site, it’s been bookmarked for sometime now. I read her blog too! I used to live in SLO and miss it dealy, so I live vicariously through her.
I would get the tiny squares necklace. It has been on my gift wishlist for almost a year now. I first asked for it asked for it for mother’s Day (I had both our kids in one year), then my 30th bday and then Christmas. Our Valentine’s day budget is zero so I know he won;t get it for me then. Toughtimes for everyone right! Famy makes it all worth it 🙂

  113. Donna says:

Oh that is easy 🙂 It would be the keyring with the words…..YOU CARRY MY HEART WITH YOU……. my wonderful DH has just left for Iraq and I would send it to him with all of the love in the world.
Congrats on your sweet neice. What an awesome reason to celebrate. Keep dancing for all of us……..

  114. Sarah E. says:

What a sweet text you got!
I like the hugs and kisses and the teeny tiny initials but I think the Family tree is my favorite since we just completed our family last month.

  115. Jana M says:

I would love to own a piece of her jewelry! I would love the tiny square necklace with my son’s name on it!

  116. Heidi Lambeth says:

Your links did not work to view Lisa’s site. But I already know that I want the one that you have with you kids initials.
    Happy dance for your neice.
    Heidi

  117. Amanda says:

*Doing a happy dance* How exciting for your family!! I can’t wait to see pictures!!!
I am loving the itty bitty hearts necklace. Thanks for the help with V-day! I hope my husband reads it! LoL

  118. Rebecca says:

I have been wanting one of the Lisa Leonard necklaces since Christmas. If I win the certificate I would also pick the circles with my kids initials on them and if I don’t win the certificate, I’m still picking that one and buying it!
    Congrats on your new niece!

  119. Les says:

I’m getting “page cannot be displayed” :0( But I’ve bookmarked it to go back. SURE LOVE the necklace you have, with the kiddo’s initials, though!
    ~Leslee

  120. Rebecca says:

I love her January feature design where you pick your “word of the year”. My husband and I just finished the “believing God” study by Beth Moore, and I think my word of the year would be “believe”. But I am also very attracted to the hugs and kisses necklace also. It would be a tough choice!

  121. Tiffany says:

Itty Bitty Heart Necklace! Sooo sweet! Thanks for the giveaway Auntie Shannon 🙂 ‘cuse me while I join you in your happy dance!

  122. Joy says:

I LOve, LOVE, LOVE the itty bitty hearts and two love heart necklaces, but they are all so darn adorable. And congrats on the wonderful addition to your family by way of a niece. Can’t wait for the exciting news to know that she is safely in the states with her family.

  123. Breezy's Mom says:

First, congrats on the news of your niece!
As for the jewelry, that’s a tough decision but probably the itty bitty hearts necklace.

  124. Gina says:

I can’t stop looking at the “Love with your Whole Heart” necklace. Although it would be tough, that would be my choice. I pored over them like I had actually won already. They are gorgeous.
And YAY for the text!!! Happy Dance!!

  125. Harmony says:

Both of the necklaces pictured above in your post are lovely. I especially love the one with the kids initials. For some reason when I click on your links for Lisa Leonard Designs, it doesn’t work!

  126. heather spesshardt says:

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the tiny squares necklace . . . would love to have the names of my boys on them!
    Heather

  127. Jenny says:

I like the “find joy in the unexpected” necklace. And we were once in Ethiopia receiving our son, so I know the feeling full well! Congratulations!

  128. Erin says:

I would have to have the single tag necklace, and it would say, “Jubilee.” After a fire that destroyed the sanctuary in December, my church is celebrating a year of Jubilee – an invitation to begin again. It is a chance for renewal, and that is what my soul desperately needs. To wear this necklace every day would keep me focused on this, our year of Jubilee.
Can’t wait to see pictures of that sweet little niece!

  129. Keri says:

Love love her jewelry. I asked for “tiny squares” for Christmas and didn’t get it (he did fine with other things, no worries) but I’d love it for Valentine’s!

  130. Trisha says:

    So happy for your family!
I love her jewelry and hope to snag one through your giveaway or from my husband 🙂 My favorite is the Oval Monogram Necklace.
    Thanks!

  131. Wanda says:

I’m happy dancing too! I love this store.
I have been dreaming of having one of her necklaces forever!
    Yayayayayayaya!
I have a couple fave’s. I love the True Love and the initials too.
So happy about your new family member 🙂

  132. Mary@notbefore7 says:

Pick one? SEriously? I actually own the single tag necklace with the word, “Purpose” on it and I LOVE it. I was there the other day drooling some more and I love the teeny tiny initials one.
The bloom one is beautiful as well, though I do like the idea of personalizing it.
Oh, and the true love one…
OK, I could go on 🙂

  133. Susan says:

Like everyone I am torn! Everything is so incredibly beautiful…but the necklace with my our names and wedding date would be something I’d NEVER take off just like this ring!
Doing a FIERCE happy dance!!! How I can’t wait to hear the story of her life unfold

  134. Amanda T says:

If I win, I’m buying a necklace for my dear friend who gave birth to a stillborn baby a few weeks ago. I think it would be just the thing for her to have in memory of her sweet baby.

  135. Laura says:

I have chills from seeing your text. Praise God that they have her, and the next chapter of her story begins.
Love the giveaway, too. I’m a fan of the baby spoons. The practicality of the stainless steel with the sentimentality of the personalization – yes!

  136. Michelle says:

It would be a hard decision between the little circle initials of my 5 children and the one word heart necklace. My word would be ‘protect’ and instead of a heart, I would like to see if she could put a cross. Oh, I might just have to get this whether I win or not! Thanks for the offer, Michelle’

  137. Jeannine says:

I love just about everything she does so it would be hard for me to choose. I do love the tiny initials.
    Congratulations on your news!

  138. Jen G says:

I’ve had my heart set on the same initial necklace you have (except with my kids’ initials, of course) for the past year! Also, I love the bird necklace. Thanks for the chance to win!

  139. Susan H says:

Live Fully is one of my faves. I believe in living each day as it’s your last and this fits. Thanks for the giveaway and congrats on the newest addition of your niece. How exciting!!

  140. Marian says:

Happy dance! I rejoice in the plans God has for her and her new family. I get as teary for other’s first meetings as I did when I met my own Ethiopian beauty. God is ALL about and all over adoption.
The Lisa Leonard link is not cooperating with my server right now. I’ve been to the site before, however, and I know that there are things there that I love. =)

  141. Someone Being Me says:

Totally doing the happy dance over here for your family. I’ll pray for an easy and safe return home.
As for the giveaway, I would love to get the tiny squares necklace with my son’s name and my soon-to-be-here other son’s name (I am 6 months pregnant).

  142. Tara says:

    Yea for the good news!!!!
Hard to choose…I could pick so many as my favorites. I like the stackable rings, and the keychain for starters…

  143. Donnetta says:

Although I looked around her site, I’m still coming back to the first one I saw. It is her word of the year necklace. I have a post coming in the future regarding my word of the year. Oh this would be absolutely perfect to go hand in hand with that!
And just for the record, extra points or not, I’m doing the happy dance right along with you!! 🙂 Such wonderfully exciting news!!!!

  144. Becky says:

The link wouldn’t work, but I’m SURE I could find something that I would really like, because I liked both the items you showed on your site. But more important – I’m doing a happy dance on the inside for your niece. HOW EXCITING!! I almost cried when I read your post about them leaving to go get her. I live on the other side of the world from all my nieces and nephews and I just met my newest great-niece (4 mos old) on Saturday and said good-bye to her yesterday (Sunday) for at least a year. (I did cry then.) Blessing on you, Tarik, her parents, sisters and all your family!!!

  145. Kimberly says:

I have just this week been contemplating some kind of necklace with my son’s initials or birthstones on it. So, that is what I might get, like the one you have.

  146. Maren M. says:

I would have to go with the itty bitty hearts necklace. Too cute. (And if I don’t win, I might have to ‘suggest’ it to my husband when our third child is born in May!)

  147. Fatima says:

How can anyone decide? The Faith, Hope and Love necklace is pretty and I am also pulled to the Family tree with all the names.
My congrats to the new aunt… I had tears when I read about their trip. Our best wishes and prayers for your family. A beautiful blessing…

  148. Jennifer Gustavus says:

OH My. Word. I don’t “know” you or your sister but I’ve got goose bumps for you! I even did a happy-dance spin in my desk chair for you. Poor Beauregard the lab, woke him from an am snooze!
I have also lost count of the times I’ve entered giveaways for one of Lisa’s designs. I completely “heart” the small initials and have sinfully coveted one since first seeing them on the Nester’s Blog.
Not in our budget so I will have to continue to enter and hope. Someday.

  149. aunt pippy says:

I like the true love necklace and those initials.
I had a bracelet with my kids names that I LOVED and it broke last summer. I’d love to have the initial necklace to “replace” it.

  150. tiffani says:

I know how you feel today! I consider the day my adopted niece was born one of the happiest days of my life (the phone call of “I’m finally a mother” makes me tear up just thinking about it!) I would love anything from Lisa Leonard, everything’s gorgeous!

  151. tina says:

I like the little initials on the squares! I also love the petite original circle!
Congratulations on your new niece! God Bless!

  152. Elizabeth says:

I have been wanting some of her jewelry for a year now! I’m still waiting for my husband to get me something. I love the tiny hearts charms. I need three:)

  153. Jen L. says:

I would get the initials necklace. I bought the family tree necklace for my mom for mother’s day last year (though she didn’t get it til closer to father’s day because I didn’t know what our 4th child’s name would be).

  154. Gayle K says:

The Word of the Year necklace — definitely! My word? “More” More love, more patience, more family time, more prayer — just more.
THRILLED for your family. I’m the mom of two precious daughters adopted from China. I hope your niece feels wrapped up and safe in all the love surrounding her.

  155. Lucy says:

I keep trying to win something from her! I love her original necklace and her true love hearts. But really, everything is beautiful!

  156. Cindy says:

I love the tiny squares necklace. I have two children with only 4 letters in their name, so it would fit beautifully!

  157. Nicole says:

I too am torn between the “word of the year necklace” and “true love”. I just celebrated my first wedding anniversary with my husband, so I would lean towards true love. What wonderful necklaces.

  158. Megan says:

The tiny squares necklace is my favorite. I’m definitely putting this on my birthday wish list! Thanks for sharing with us. I love her stuff!

  159. Elizabeth Sue says:

I would have to get my hands on that true love hearts necklace.
BTW, Praise the Lord on your new sweet niece!

  160. Bobbie Jo says:

First Congrats on the new baby to the family! How exciting!
As for the jewelry I love the teenie tiny initials. I have 3 kids and that would be perfect!

  161. Leslie says:

Ummmm…just about anything there would be just fine with me! I like the teenie tiney initials. I also like the stackable rings.

  162. Kristin says:

Oh, how do I choose. She has adorable ideas. But, I think I like the family tree and the teeny tiny initials. I love the idea of carrying the initials or names of my family around my neck. And…congrats on your new neice. I hope you can meet her soon.

  163. Cathy says:

I think I’d pick tiny squares. It would be a hard choice, though. Tiny hearts is so cute, and the riveted heart one as well.

  164. Libby Brill says:

I just love her designs – they are so beautiful. I’d choose either the tiny squares or the teenie tiny initials. I can’t decide. 🙂

  165. Beth Gallagher says:

I am SO darned excited for your new niece and her family!!!! Having adopted my two darling daughters from Ethiopia 3 yrs. ago and 2 yrs. ago, I know the deep-in-your-soul trembling of excitement and joy. Happiness always to all of you!
Now, on the Lisa Leonard Designs – BEAUTIFUL! I would definately get the stackable rings with my girls’ names on them. Or the tiny discs with their initials. Or…… ok, I love everything. 🙂
    Congratulations on your new niece!
    ~Beth

  166. Laura says:

    CONGRATULATIONS! What a blessing!
It’s HARD to choose, but I think I’d go with the mini open circles… or maybe the hugs and kisses…. but I really love the stackable rings too.

  167. Sara says:

My favorite is the teenie tiny initials. So cute!
Oh, I’m so excited for your whole family! Can’t wait to hear more about the newest addition to your family! Congrats and wishing them a safe trip home 🙂

I am so excited about your text message. My husband and I have been prayerfully considering adoption and if we did decide to grow our family that way, we both have a heart for Ethiopia, so this series of posts of yours have really touched our hearts.
If I was to win, I would chose the itty bitty heart necklace. It is so cute and I’d put my three little one’s names on it.

  169. Judy says:

I LOVE the mini open circle necklace! That would be perfect for my two boys’ names!!!
And huge CONGRATS for your brother! Our God is an AWESOME God!

  170. Donna A says:

I would love the new Hugs and Kisses…just darling!!
we are doing the happy dance for you and your family today. hoorah!

  171. Marin says:

I would get the Word of The Year necklace… just trying to decide if my word of the year should be “courage” or “breathe”: both important, no?
    And I’m
    happy
    dancin’!

  172. sara l. says:

I’d get the Word of the Year necklace with Blessed as my word! And I’m doing a MAJOR happy dance! What a sweet, sweet story! Congrats!

awww I am so happy for you!! I know how estatic you are!!
The thing I love is what you have the custom intial necklace with all your kiddo’s intilas!

  174. Debi says:

I have six children and this is the first time I’ve seen something I like with more than a 4 child option. I would love to wear the intital necklace with the fresh water pearls. 4 squares for the boys and circles for my 2 girls

  175. Danielle says:

I’ve being eyeing Lisa’s riveted flower necklace. I’ve being wanting a necklace where I can have all 3 of my children’s names on it, our son was stillborn, but his twin sister made it, she’s 8 months now and I have an almost 5 y.o. too. I want a way to announce that I have 3 children without always having to tell the whole story. Congrats on your neice

  176. Cindy says:

I love them all, but would go with the kid initials…I carry them close to my heart all day. This would be a great tangible representation of their importance to me.

  177. Christi says:

I favorited the site to show my husband, so even if I don’t win, I’m sure I’ll be getting a beautiful mother’s day gift. I love the one with the tiny squares with the kid’s name on it. I also loved the Sister necklace, my Sissy would love it.

  178. April says:

I heart the itty bitty heart necklace. My favorite shape is the heart. (I know it’s crazy to have a favorite shape.)

  188. Valerie at Home says:

I love the tiny squares necklace with the names of my girls. I also really love the word of the year necklace. It’s a great concept, but I’m having trouble thinking of what word I would choose. Maybe “home” as I am working to make my home a more comfortable place to be.

Oh, and the teenie tiny intials necklace please! Like the other posters, it may be a Valentine’s present to ME.

  197. Sharon says:

Congrats!!!!! A celebration is in order!! We’ll be celebrating on your behalf here in sunny, (and back to warm) Florida. 🙂

    Megan

  201. Aunt Murry says:

Doing the Snoopy dance for your family! How exciting and blessed!
I took a look around and since I have been looking at key chains I think I would have to get the tag key chain or the teeny tiny initials necklace with all my neices and nephews initals. Since I have no children of my own, my borther has always and graciously shared his.

  202. Jennifer Ott says:

I NEED one with my kids initials…to remind me that they are cute and adorable and mine…even when all three are within 37 months of each other and driving me crazy! Thanks!
As a sibling to two adopted sisters (from Russia), it’s always a miracle!

  203. Nicole says:

I love that Bloom design. So simple and sweet. Thanks for the chance to enter.
    And Im totally doing a happy dance for you. Im going to be an auntie again via adoption later this year. Totally feel your joy. :}

  204. Maureen says:

Congrats on your new family member. My prayers are with your sister and her husband and daughter for a safe trip home and much happiness and health! I can’t think of a more wonderful joy than this.
As for the contest, I am torn between the “courage” necklace for my mom, who is caring for me 24/7 despite my being 42 and her being 75! I have a lot of health issues and a mom never stops being a mom, as you and your sister can attest!
The other item that caught my eye was the “sweet sister” necklace. February is my sister’s birthday month, and we have been somewhat estranged. I don’t have much money, due to illness, but I would love to send her the necklace and a long letter reaching out to her. In fact, I think the letter should happen whether I win the gift certificate for the necklace or not!! Thanks for the push I needed!
Your news has warmed my heart this cold January day, I will do my bed ridden version of the “happy dance”!

  205. Amanda says:

I love the teenie tiny initials necklace. I just had my first baby this past November and I’ve been searching for a necklace that would help keep him with me at all times. This would be perfect!

  206. Cherissa Roebuck says:

Well, I did indeed pop over to her site, and spent WAY too long looking at all the pretties. How would I ever choose?!? I love the freshwater pearl earrings, the tag key chain, the bloom necklace… and the list goes on and on.
Please pick me and help me overcome my indecisiveness (my husband will forever be grateful).
    Great Giveaway!!

  207. Missy says:

I love the itty bitty hearts and the teennie tiny initials. I’ll have to put the bug in hubs ear (again) that I want one of these…
And yeah, yeah, yeah for your bother and sis-in-law. What a wonderful story!!!

  208. celina says:

    ok got page to load….
itty bitty hearts, and tiny squares…dog tags were cool too
i do wish she had one, that said I AM STRONG
cause i always forget that..and i need to remember it…

  211. Megan Booth says:

I must confess I already have one of her tag necklaces with my three kids, but I love her stuff! I would love the itty bitty hearts necklace – probably to give to my MIL (or maybe keep myself!!)
    Congrats on your new niece!!!

  212. Susan says:

I like the itty bitty hearts. Although, with 8 of my own kids and the possibility of our adopting a sibling group of 7, I may have to order 2!

  213. Christine says:

I’ve emailed something akin to your bullhorn to Hubs before in response to Lisa Leonard’s site. I love the “Bloom” piece too. And the initial necklace. Just too cute! Tears of joy and happy dances for your sweet niece and her new mom and dad! Happy day!

  214. Molly says:

I would choose the “family tree” necklace– All six of our names would JuSt fit! 🙂
So thankful for your niece! I was adopted as a baby and there’s nothing like a baby being brought home to warm my heart! Will be praying for the adjustment for all! 🙂 Congrats, Auntie!

  215. Danielle says:

oh wow…i love all her stuff! I’d have to say the teenie tiny initials or the mini open circle necklace with the pearl…and of course, i’d probably have to splurge on the cute freshwater pearl earrings just to finish the look! of course, that’s more than the $50…but wow…so cute!

  216. Joanna Miller says:

Anything. Totally. If I had to choose – the bird necklace, or the tiny initials. And happy dances for you and yours!!

  217. Pendy says:

I adore the sterling cuff and the tiny squares with names. The courage pendant is pretty great, too.
    Congrats on your new niecie!

  218. Jenn says:

I would get the key chain- I’ve had 3 break on me so I need something pretty and sturdy 🙂 Congrats on the new addition to the family!

  219. Linds says:

I love the word of the year necklace. Hmm..what word would I choose? Maybe Live Well, reminding me to not just let life past me by but live it to the fullest.

  220. Ann Voskamp says:

    I’m dancing, dancing, dancing! ~grin~
Seriously, I deboned chicken meat for dinner here, my head awhirl with all the love and joy that must be happening in some hearts in Ethopia today. I’ve been praying praise… deeply moved.
So yeah…. the tiny squares necklace with names of those hearts outside our body… He gives those names such a story.
I keep dancing — such a story God’s writing in your family, Shannon…

  221. Jennette says:

How does one begin to chose?? I love them all, but one of my favorites is the riveted flower necklace!

  222. Becky Petrie says:

I really like the teeny tiny initials necklace. Although i actually liked everything.(i kinda like jewelry!)

  223. Beth Moore says:

The true love hearts necklace is TDF!! But, besides the giveaway, which is FABULOUS, I am SO excited for your text! This story has really touched my heart and I am so filled with joy to hear another child will have a loving home!

  224. Tami says:

Okay, there are just way too many cute ones to choose from. I do like the idea of having a word for 2009. I should decide what mine will be…

  225. Beth says:

    Congrats on your new niece!
Usually hubby and I just have some special time together for Valentine’s Day, no gifts, but this would be a great excuse to break that tradition!

  226. April in CT says:

A new addition to the family…so exciting! I wish them a safe and happy trip back home!
The lovebird necklace is so adorable!

  227. Melanie says:

I would love teh teenie tiny initials with my girls intitials and my husbands. All the loves of my life. Thanks so much.

  228. rrmama says:

YEAH for your new niece! What a party you are going to have when they all come home. I love Lisa’s designs! She is fabulous. I think my favorite it the one with the initials. I could so see that around my neck!

  229. Jenna says:

I got chills when I saw your text! YAY!
I love the “find joy” necklace, and also the baby spoons … my cousin is getting ready to have twin boys, and what a perfect gift!

  230. Roxanne Rissanen says:

    Congratulations once again Auntie.
My brother and sister-in-law adopted their son from Romania. We were the same way, waiting with baited breath for the moment they were a family both in spirit and in the flesh. He is adored and spoiled and loved and we are so lucky to have him.
Take care and enjoy every second.

  231. mandy says:

Congrats for you and your family on the newest member – how exciting! I really like the “find joy necklace” over at Lisa’s site. Thanks for the great giveaway.

  232. Kim says:

First — HOORAY!!!! I am SO excited to read that they have their sweet baby girl. I have 2 friends who have adopted from Ethiopia and so I know it doesn’t always go so smoothly. Hooray for your family!!!!!
Second, I love the Lovebird necklace. It is just so sweet and simple.

  233. Katy says:

I actually hinted to my husband that I wanted a LL necklace for V’day. I told him something with our wedding date or initials or our son’s initials or his b’date would be sweet. So to win a gift cert would be very, very sweet 🙂

  234. Josie says:

    Congratulations on your niece!
I love all of the designs and it would be a very hard choice to make, but I think it would either be the teenie tiny initials or the Faith, Hope, Love.
    Thanks for sharing your joy!

  235. Joan says:

Oh gosh – I love the “word of the year” necklace … and for me, that word would be “patience”. (I haven’t been practicing it very well here lately, and I sure could use the reminder.)
Oh, and while I’m here – *happy-dance-happy-dance-happy dance* for your whole (growing!) family!!! :o)

  236. Janell says:

I love the Open Circle and everything else! Congratulations on your precious new niece!! What an exciting and happy time for your whole family! Such a blessing!

  237. jen says:

Yay for your new little niece and her excited parents (and entire family)! May God bless their journey together.
I read Lisa’s website info and her story is so encouraging. What a beautiful family. If I win I’ll get the open circle necklace, imprinted as it is on her site with “Love with your whole heart” because I’m learning right now, for the first time in my life, how to love others with self-abandon. What a fun reminder it would be on this rough road.

  238. April Clark says:

The home page of her website shows the absolute perfect gift. Courage…is what my sister-in-law needs in her heart right now. She is going through a very stinky divorce from a very selfish man right now with thier 6 year old daughter and thier 4 year old son right in the middle of it. If i win the gift certificate I will use it to give her this necklace as the perfect Valentines gift.

  239. Erin says:

Congratulations to your brother and his wife and their family for getting their little baby! That is so wonderful for all of them…
(Love the jewelry, but please don’t enter me…I am blessed enough…just thought I’d welcome your newest member of the family!)

  240. Jennifer says:

    Single tag necklace!
I became an aunt this year, thanks to adoption. I teared up a little at your wonderful news!

  241. Missy K says:

I love, love love the word of the year necklace– and the lovebird is a very close second.
Doing a little happy dance now– for a new little bird in her nest!

  242. Dionna says:

Gosh – only one? The single tag necklace that says sparkle fits me to a “t.” I also really resonated with the courage necklace and the two open hearted circles with my kids’ names.
    I couldn’t choose just one! 🙂

  243. sandi says:

Oh my goodness how delightful!!!!! I was just in Ethiopia picking up my 4th child, a son!
I am sure you are so excited to meet her.

  244. Patrice says:

Itty bitty hearts and/or the flower that you show on your page. Lovely items.
    Congratulations on your new Niece.

  245. cheryl says:

I love Lisa Leonards work. Thanks for the call out! I’d have to choose between “find joy”, “tiny squares” with my daughter’s names, and “sweet simple bird.”

  246. Sarah Smithson says:

I love the initial necklace that is on your blog… but I didn’t find it on hers.
    So excited for your family!

  247. renee says:

I love love love the family tree necklace! As we just adopted, I am getting bold enough to start wearing personalized items with my 2 kiddos names. Its been a long road, but an awesome time.
Congrats to your brother (and the rest of the family)! AWESOME!

  248. Sherri S says:

I would LOVE any of her items. My favs tho are the 2 necklaces with the word Sparkle or the word SHINE! Shine is a word near and dear to my heart for 3 years now.

  249. Jenny 867-5309 says:

I actually gasped when I clicked over to her site. Her January necklace with the word Courage hit me right between the eyes. Last week I started praying for courage…my core being needs that so bad. Even if I don’t win, I may need to get that.

  250. Mandi says:

Congratulations on your new niece!! I’m so happy for your whole family.
I love Lisa Leonard designs – her pieces are so original. I especially like her Open Circle necklace and the Oval Monogram necklace, too. Thanks for the great giveaway!

  251. Roberta Anne says:

I am like comment 478. WOW!!! I would want the Sparkle one. And I am doing a happy dance for your new niece. Isn’t it a miracle when one of these sweet babies comes here to live.
    Have a great Monday
    Roberta Anne

  252. Mary B says:

I have always loved Lisa Leonard. My favorite is the open circle. Not sure what I would have engraved….my kids names or favorite scripture.

  253. Jean M. says:

I love the itty bitty hearts necklace.
Doing the Snoopy Happy Dance for you and your new niece! I’m so excited for you.
Oh, and stay warm up there! Staying warm down here in TX.

  254. Amanda says:

I would spend it on the Bloom necklace and I also love the freshwater pearl necklace and earrings.
    Beautiful website with beautiful designs.

  255. Amber says:

Love the little initials squares with the pearl that you posted. That is the one I have been eyeing. Didn’t think of Valentines! Great idea!

  256. jen says:

i LOVE Lisa’s work 🙂 ive had it book marked for dh for quite some time now! though i love all her stuff, i think i would have to go with the teeny tiny initals with hopes to add a 3rd someday!

  257. Melissa says:

i love the sweet simple bird, the courage, and the sisters the best!! of course that would exceed my gift certificate, so i have no idea which i would pick!!! i’d probably get the bird….maybe. 😉

  258. Melanie C. says:

I really like the lovebird necklace and the original necklace. They would be awesome. Congratulations on your good news!

  259. Sarah says:

Congratulations to your brother and his wife on their new daughter!!!
I would love a “Baby’s First Spoon” for my godson whose c-section is scheduled for Wednesday. I can’t wait to meet him!
    Thanks!

  260. Becky says:

Wow! Congratulations! I encourage adopting as there are so many children who need homes in the world, and so much overpopulation. I love the Sweet Simple Bird Necklace. Thank you for offering this giveaway!
    eyeslikesugar [at] gmail [dot] com

  261. mkw says:

congratulations to your family. praying for a safe, calm flight home. The dog tag necklace is a favorite. mkw

  262. Ginger @ Burnt Grilled Cheese says:

Awww, I love the Love Bird necklace. I’m in love with birds lately and am doing my baby girl’s room with birdies.

  263. Jil Coffey says:

I may be older than your target audience, but I’m a mom just the same. I’m in my mid-fifties with two children–young adults actually. My daughter’s a freshman and my son’s a sophomore in college and although I’m very proud of the choices they’re making, I miss them terribly. Wearing these beautifully simple initial pendants around my neck would make them seem closer to home–almost like I could touch them.

  264. peggy says:

    Praise God.
Please keep us updated. My heart just jumps every time I read about your sweet new niece.
I like the necklace you have but didn’t see it on the website. Also, the concentric circles.

  265. Rachel says:

I could definitely spend a gift certificate there! My favorite is the True Love Hearts. I am so happy for your brother and sister-in-law and this new addition to the family. I will be praying for safe travel for them as they return home.

  266. Jessica says:

Well, first I would replace the chain from the initial necklace I already have of hers. My 3 year old broke it :(. Then I would buy the bloom one that you listed here. I love it!

  267. Robin says:

I am so excited for you and your family! That is wonderful! I look forward to seeing photos of the new family member. :0)
I would get the initial necklace that is shown on your blog…I think…yeah, that’s what I would want. I think it’s beautiful.

  268. oonagh says:

you can so ignore my last post, i totally forgot which tab was which…….
jewelry……it’s all gorgeous!! i would so get a couple of the stackable rings….not sure what i would put on them yet though!!

  269. Goslyn says:

Hooray for your niece! I love her name, by the way.
And at Lisa’s place I would buy the Sweet Sister necklace, because my sister would really love it. And it would be a great way for me to tell her how much I love her.

  270. Lynne says:

Congratulations to your brother and sister-in-law, what wonderful news.
I think I would have to spend my gift certificate on the Original…too cute 🙂

  271. Terri says:

I’d choose the stackable rings and the freshwater pearl earrings. Beautiful jewelry! Congrats on the terrific new family member!

  272. Alaina says:

First, I’m so excited and teary-eyed for your brother and SIL! As an adoptive momma, my heart always warms and my eyes always swim when I hear of another beautiful child finding a forever family!!!
I love Lisa Leonard’s designs…my husband seriously needs to get the memo! 🙂 I really like the tiny squares – I would have three squares – one for each of my kids.

  273. rita says:

I would definitely get myself the same necklace that you have. I have one son and one more on the way in 3 wks.

  274. angela =^) says:

I truly, really love the little squares necklace! I would put my kids’ initials on them. =^) CONGRATS on your niece. God’s faithfulness is amazing.

  275. Shannon says:

Congratulations on your new niece- what a blessing!
I love the initials necklace and the word necklace so it would be tough but oh how I would love to have to choose! Her designs are beautiful!

  276. Tiffany says:

I love several of the necklaces that you can put your kids initials on, it would be hard to choose just one 🙂
    Congrats on your new niece!!!

  277. LANA says:

I would purchase the sterling cuff or the breast cancer awareness necklace for my mom:). Nice jewelry! Congratulation on your new niece! Keep us updated!

  278. heather says:

story about the adoption sounds great. thats awesome.
I think for the Lisa Leonard’s thing, I would give the card to my sister because it’s almost her birthday.

  279. kriscake says:

Safe journey to your forever home little one!
I love lisa leonard’s designs. I love the simplicity and uniqueness. My current fav is the wish charm.

  280. Melissa M says:

I really like the Sparkle Necklace and the Family Tree necklace. I could see myself wearing those on a daily basis. Lisa Leonard has wonderful designs, thank you for the giveway!
Please check out my blog for a chance to win free earrings: Lagazdesigns.blogspot.com

  281. Jami Byers says:

Congratulations on the new addition to your family! I bet they are thrilled to have her in their arms.
I love the stackable rings! Thanks.

  282. Colleen Zarzecki says:

Congratulations to your family, especially your brother and his wife. I cried when I read your weekend posting about their trip. I’m praying for a safe (and quick) trip home for them all!
And I really love the Bloom necklace.

  283. Colleen Zarzecki says:

Congratulations to your brother and his wife. I cried when I read your weekend posting. May they have a quick and safe return.
I really like the bloom necklace.

  284. Serena says:

I would get the itty bitty hearts. I love the little pearl on each necklace. My younger daughter’s middle name is Pearl, and she was named after my great-grandma.
Congratulations on your new niece! That is so exciting and wonderful!

  285. Amy F says:

Congratulations on your niece! How wonderful! As far as the giveaway goes, I love the teenie tiny initials… or maybe the silver cuff. So cute!

  286. alice says:

OH, how to choose? The mini open hearts or the tiny circles… with my sweet baby angels’ names, of course.

  287. Tiffany S. says:

I would get the wish necklace. Thank you for the chance to win. I got chills reading about them going to get their daughter. Beautiful story. 🙂

  288. Jamie says:

Woohoo! So happy to hear that your new niece has finally been united with her mom and dad. Yay!
As for the jewelry–I think I find a new favorite every time I look at her website (for a giveaway like this one), but right now I’m liking the Open Circle necklace. I’d probably get something for my mom, though. 🙂

  289. Eleanor says:

I would choose the January featured necklace, but with the word HOPE on it. 2008 was a really really difficult year. But we are keeping Hope alive. In a really neat (long) story, someone gave my daughters a Christmas gift of a HORSE this year, and her name was Hope.

  290. Amber says:

I would get the necklace you have my babies initials. I keep looking at these and dreaming….maybe I’ll win!
So glad they have her, and will be praying for safe travels!
    Amber

  291. Heather Salas says:

I equally like the stackable name rings as well as the necklace with the hammered small initial discs.
It is AWESOME that they have their sweet girl in their arms!!!!

  292. Meredith says:

If I was lucky enough to win, I’d choose the itty bitty hearts necklace and put my kids’ initials on it.
And here is a *happy dance* for the new baby!

  293. Miriam Johnson says:

My choice if I had a gift certificate would be the January Featured Design. The heart with the simple word “Courage” best sums up an adoptive mother’s experience. I have adopted both my children, neither process was a cakewalk. The courage in my heart at an earlier time has now made room for love!

  294. Kristen says:

I cried, too, just reading that text message from your sister. Congratulations!
I think I’d go with the teeny tiny initials necklace… but then there’s the open circle necklace… I’m in love with so many of the designs. It’s too hard to choose!

  295. Megan says:

I think I would go with the tiny squares neckalce with my daughters and husbands names.
Congratulations on the new family member!

  296. Tami says:

It’s so hard to pick just one!!
I love the itty bitty hearts, the tiny squares, the riveted heart, the riveted square, the dog tag……OK, I’ll just stop now before I type in her entire inventory!

  297. Christina says:

I love the open circle necklace…
So happy to read about your niece. We have friends that are missionaries in Addis Abbaba. They have adopted 2 children. Beautiful children, beautiful story. I wonder if we could hook them up to “chat” via email or something.

  298. jodi says:

i’d get the teeny tiny initials necklace, but i have 7 kids, so it would be so expensive!
love the design and i did the happy dance for your new neice before you even suggested it!
    blessings heaped on your head–
    jodi

  299. jessica says:

I’ve been eyeing the teenie tiny initials one also for quite some time. 😉 Congrats on your niece.- What a precious gift!

  300. Anne says:

I love the concentric circles necklace or the ‘bloom’ necklace you posted on this entry. All of her stuff is great, though – simple, clean, and beautiful.

  301. Kelly says:

I would really love a necklace with my daughter’s initials. I rarely wear jewelry because I’m afraid of destroying it. Lisa’s necklaces look sturdy and beautiful at the same time.

  302. amy says:

I’d for sure get the ones with the tiny initials, one for me and one for my sister! Lisa’s jewelery is soo awesome! What great news for you too…congrats on your niece! How sweet she must be!

  303. hickmomof3 says:

I love the itty bitty hearts with my 4 kids initials on them. what a sweet necklace. Very practical for a mom of 4 as well. Not too frilly.

  304. Michelle G says:

I’m so very happy for your family and the new addition! Sending prayers your way that everyone gets home safe and sound! *Happy dance!*
I love the teeny tiny initials (I’ve been coveting them for a while!) 🙂

  305. Lyn says:

I would spend the gift certificate on my older sister, who is going through a very painful time in her life right now…I would gift her with the Courage necklace.
    🙂

  306. Debbie says:

I love it all. Necklace with children’s initials is very sweet. We have adoped and I know the wonderful joy of traveling to a distant country to meet your precious child. Blessings.

  307. Jennifer Casey says:

I’ve already sent my husband a link to her website as we’re expecting our 4th in the next few weeks. Only problem – she doesn’t have a name yet so he’ll have to order me something after she arrives!! Congrats to Reed & LeeAnn, we’ve been praying for their new arrival at TGC as well!

  308. Erica says:

I love so many of those! I think the one that works best for me is the original, though; it’s simple, a good size, and it would fit my girls’ names perfectly. Thanks!
As for the text, CONGRATULATIONS! To you, to them, and to their sweet new little girl. At the same time, however, I’ve gotta say: Could they have chosen a creepier text? “We’ve got her” would make me run to my girls’ rooms with my fingers ready to dial 911 to report the kidnapping. I’m glad it was not a kidnapping, but rather a kid receiving. 🙂

  309. Wendy says:

What a generous lady to give us good things so often. I love so many of them, the find joy, simple bird, family tree and I like the key chain too. Congrats to your family on the newest addition. It seems like a great place to be. Blessings. – Wendy

  310. Heather says:

It would have to be the wire charm bracelet! LOVE it!!
Congrats on bringing your niece home to her forever family!! Doing a happy dance for you and yours’. 🙂

  311. jennybek says:

First of all, the text message made me cry. The post about her story made me cry and when I told my hub about it, I cried. I am so glad and grateful that there are people who not only are able to do this but that they do. To give a child a family and love is one of the greatest gifts.

  312. Poppyseed says:

I think I would go for the Tiny Squares necklace….but I’m reserving the right to shop if I win! 🙂 Congratulations on your precious new niece…can’t wait to see some pics.

  313. Angela says:

I like the Stackable Rings, they are simple but lovely, I will also join in the happy dance with you!!
    thanks

  314. Mandi says:

I love the true love hearts, family tree and my heart necklaces, although everything on her site is beautiful.

  315. Beth says:

“We’ve got her.” Little words, HUGE blessing! So happy for your whole family.
Looking at this sweet jewelry makes me happy, too — think I’d have to say my favorite is the same one you have, little initials with a classic pearl drop!

  316. Grammy says:

Do I really have to choose only one? Then I guess I would choose the one with the kids initials…..maybe.

  317. Suzanne B. (Crunchy Green Mom) says:

OK.. I’ve got tears in my eyes for your new little niece! I can not imagine how happy you must be… being adopted myself.. it thrills me to know that she will have a loving family!
    YAY….
I would love the breast cancer awareness necklace!
    LilithSilvermane(at)gmail(dot)com

  318. Erica says:

I love the itty bitty hearts necklace for my two adopted kids’ initials. I would love to join you in a happy dance – I completely understand since both my kiddos are also adopted!!

  319. Kristine says:

Oh, I’ve always loved that initial/pearl necklace. Had it on my wish list forever… might be leaving this blog post open. maybe even on DH’s computer… 🙂 Congrats on your new niece!!!

  320. susan says:

I would go for the teenie tiny initials or maybe the true love hearts. It would be a tough choice.
That is the best kind of news to receive anytime. Congratulations.

  321. Heidi says:

Seriously where do I begin?? Love the look and the designs of them all, but my favs are probably the birdie designs – lovebird necklace, sweet sample birdie design. I also think the find joy necklace and the Jan featured (mine would say breathe) necklace are very inspiring. And who doesn’t need to be inspired?

  322. Staci A says:

I would choose the itty bitty hearts necklace. Beautiful!
A huge congrats on your new niece! I popped over and read the story behind it-just amazing!

  323. Renee says:

Wow, what gorgeous jewelry. It is almost too hard to choose. I did really feel drawn to My Heart Necklace. I hold your heart in mine! What an amazing thought. Love it!!
And your text made my day!! Happy Dance all around!!

  324. jen says:

Oh, my favorite is the wish necklace, but I’m not sure it would fit all of my wee ones’ names…so I’d pick tiny squares. Love it all though!
I also love that message you got! That is the best! Just over a year ago, we were where they are doing what they are doing…and it was really the trip of a lifetime! I hope their whole trip is blessed beyond what they have hoped for!

  325. Nichole says:

I too love the teeny tiny initials. It would be hard to decide if I won though!
Several people from our church adopted from Ethiopia — very exciting and joyous, beautiful children. I was excited to see the text too!

  326. Grateful for Grace says:

Oh, how crazy! I clicked on her ad just the other day from your blog. Hands down, I would get the Sterling Cuff. I”ve counted it out three times and I can fit all six of my kids’ names on it. I hope I win!!
WAhhhhhhhhooooooooooooooooooooie!! That baby girl is in her parents’ loving arms and one story ends while another begins. How wonderful that the LORD has led this couple to their daughter. Praising Him!

  327. Kat says:

I too have the tiny initial necklace with my three precious ones initials. I have been wanting to order a custom piece. The open circle with a special saying I have picked out that will profess my faith.

  328. Jenny in Ca says:

oh pick me! It would be hard to decide, but I would buy the ‘love bird’ necklace. These are all so cute!
lol on your shout out note..I may just have to leave that one up!!

  329. Laura says:

I love Lisa Leonard Designs. It’s hard to choose one favorite. I think if I win I would get the Find Joy Necklace. It’s message really speaks to me. Thank you for the opportunity.
    mcgregor_laura (at) hotmail (dot) com

  330. Becky B says:

Teeny tiny initials! Oh Shannon – I’ve been involved just this last year with adoptions from Ethiopia and I am especially rejoicing with you and your sister!! Praise God!

  331. Dawn says:

If I had the opportunity to do a purchase frome Lisa, I’d want to do something that incorporated my entire family or devoted to my better half & myself. My hubby will soon be deploying for a year plus, so it would be nice even to have something to show how proud I am to be a wife to one of America’s finest!

  332. robin says:

Oh I love Lisa’s designs! And CONGRATULATIONS!! How exciting for your family!
That Bloom necklace is adorable but if I won I’d have a hard time choosing between Bloom and the teenie tiny initials necklace.
Have fun w/ your new niece when she arrives! and thanks for such a fab giveaway!

  335. Lisa says:

Congratulations on your new niece. We have been praying everything would go as planned and are very happy she will be joining your family.

  336. Jennifer says:

Itty bitty hearts necklace. So glad your new niece is in her loving parents’ care. After I read your post and cried and prayed and cried some more, I googled Ethiopian adoptions and did some reading just out of curiosity. My husband has always wanted to adopt children in addition to the ones God has already blessed us with. I’ve never considered Ethiopia. But strangely enough, the next day I received a gift from my dear mother in law. A book….about Ethiopian orphans! Makes me wonder if the Lord is preparing my heart for something new.

  337. Cathy says:

DEFINITELY the teenie tiny initials! and how perfect: $50. 3 kids. $42 plus $8. It was meant to be:)
Thanks for sharing! and Praise God for your new niece!

  338. Jane Anne says:

I like the Shine Brightly riveted star necklace. Shannon, I am doing the happy dance – even though it is midnight here in the PC NW. Ok, really, I am just going to stop entering contests and get me a piece of chocolate to celebrate. Great news!!

  339. Tasha says:

Yay!!!! I’m so happy they finally have her! Thank God! Congratulations on your new family member! 🙂
And I love Laura’s designs! I have to say, the courage necklace caught my eye. The look of it makes me feel somber, since the chain looks dog-tag-ish and my husband is in the Army. Not to mention the word courage… 🙂

  340. Dianne Goulet says:

As a newlywed and after a long year of serious health problems and the undying and loving support of my wonderful husband, True Love would have to be IT. Followed by the little circle initials with all the kids’ names on them. 🙂
Praise God for the new little one in your lives…I love her name. God has given each one of us a new story, hasn’t He?

  341. Emily says:

I really like the oval monogrammed necklace; anything monogrammed! Congratulations on your beautiful–I’m sure–new neice!

  342. Melina says:

I absolutely LOVE the “True Love” necklace. 🙂 The Itty Bitty Hearts one would be entirely too tempting, too 🙂 So if I won, I’d probably get both *haha*
And congratulations on the new addition to your family. I bet everyone is just thrilled. *Happy dance!!* 🙂

  343. Kari says:

Oh, that was easy. I would get the first thing I just saw when I popped onto the website. It’s the word of the year necklace. It has the word “courage” on it. I know that you can choose a word, but that would be my word. We are in the midst of scary times with our boys (we think our son, who already has Autism, just had a seizure yesterday afternoon and are trying to decide what that means for him) and we all, my husband, me, and both my boys need courage right now. Courage to move forward, courage to not give up, real courage to hang onto God when it looks like there is no hope.
Oh, and I wouldn’t take extra points even if you were really giving them out for this, wooohooooo on your new niece. She is the reason I came to the blog this morning. I was praying for news on her. I bet you guys are so excited and just giddy waiting to meet her.

  344. Amber says:

I love, love, love her work and can’t imagine what I would pick. :0)
As an adoptive momma, and one who has been touched by Africa, your text brought a tear to my eye!

  345. Heather A says:

I am loving the Open Circle necklace. Simple and beautiful. I love all the initial stuff, but I am hoping my family will still grow. Thanks for the chance for an amazing giveaway!
And congrats on the newest addition!

  346. Pat says:

Gosh I love so many of them….lovebird is adorable, so is bloom.
Congratulations to your entire family for Tarik!

  347. joy! says:

I’m doing the happy dance with you. We know that dance well — we danced it in China with our daughter and in Nepal with our son! I’m lovin’ the things in the Simply Inspired line.

  348. Lisa F says:

Congratulations n your new niece. Some of my dearest friends live in AA so it holds a special plce in my heart as do the beautiful children there. As for the neato jewelery–I would choose a necklace just like yours.

I would love the teenie tiny initials. I am such a huge fan of Lisa’s work!!

  350. Katie says:

The love bird necklace is so unique I would probably have to get that or the puffy hearts neckalace with my kids initals stamped on them. But I don’t know it would be very hard to chose.

  351. Tonya says:

I love all her jewelry and would have the hardest time choosing which necklace to carry my family around with me. I do like the tiny squares.
This has been on my wishlist for some time!
    Thanks!!

  352. Mom Of Faith says:

I would have to get two sterling baby spoons, my baby sister is having a baby in a month AND my cousin (who is much like a sister) is due in August. These two ladies are two of my three favorite women in the world and this gift would be so beyond special for them…I might just have to buy myself the mini circles to celebrate:) Thanks for offering such an awesome giveaway!

  353. Sally says:

How could anybody decide. I love them all, but maybe the oval monogram, or the faith hope love. congrats on the niece. What a blessing.

  354. Gina says:

    Congratulations on your new niece!
I like the itty biity hearts necklace best, but any of the ones with the kids names or initials would thrill me.

I love the Stackable Rings. They would be prefect to put my kids names on.
Congrats on officially being an aunt!

  356. Emily says:

The faith, hope, love necklace with the cross. I am doing a happy dance for your new niece. It reminds me of the day, almost three years ago, that we got to hold our sweet boy for the first time in Ethiopia. Blessings!

    Kelly

  361. leslie says:

I’m dancing as I type- what fun- a niece!
I’d totally go for one of those initial “mom’s” necklaces- so much cuter than the little people with the gem bellies… 🙂

  362. Janay says:

There is so many beautiful pieces on the website that it would be hard to choose, but I think I would totally do the initials of the kids that you have. It’s a beautiful idea!! 🙂

  363. she says:

I’d like either the “little birdie told me” or the “sparkle” necklace! Love them both!!
Bonus points? Here’s a pic of me “breaking it down” at age 7:

    Enjoy! haha

  364. Tamera says:

I love the teeny tiny intitials! I have 3 little names to fill the necklace with. Congratulations to your family on the adoption blessing from Ethiopia!

  365. Heather says:

well, if this isn’t a drop in the bucket…
    what the heck?
I am swooning over the sweet simple bird necklace.
s w o o n i n g… like the cartoon swirls around the head kind, heart thumping right out of the chest kind…
I won’t bother kissing up, since I know you pick winners randomly right? Otherwise I’m sure I would be your favorite. (haha)

  366. Beth says:

I’d love the necklace with my kids initials – would be very special since I lost my son to cancer a few years ago. Thanks!

  367. MC says:

I’m all about the baby spoons! A lady I work with is getting ready to welcome a new grandbaby, and he and his mother will be staying with her while his father is deployed, so we’re having a “Grandmother Shower” to help gather some thing she’ll need. I think the spoon would make a GREAT gift!

  368. Emily Kay says:

Wow, there are a TON of comments! Oh well, my chance is as good as anyone’s, I guess. 🙂
I think I would get the necklace with the tiny circles with my kid’s initials on them.

  371. Rhonda Manley says:

Love everything on her website! So simple and elegant, yet inspiring. I’m always looking for that perfect word or phrase that will help me get through the day. As a PPD sufferer (or should I say survivor?), I want to not only educate every expectant mother out there, but I want to show my son how very much I love him and that he is truly my inspiration to live. God and child-does it get any better than that?
    Thank you.

  372. KO says:

Ok, I want to pick something for myself (any of the necklaces with the kids names on them!…or the “bloom” one…or…), but my husband would love and needs a keychain. His birthday is coming and the one with the kids’ names on it saying they love daddy would be perfect!
I wasn’t able to happy dance, but I did give a “YES!” when I saw the text!

  373. Tracy Pearson says:

That’s so great! Congrats on your families newest! 🙂

I like the stackable rings and the word of the year necklace. I would get the rings with the names of my three kids on them (Jayleigh, Miah, Jeremiah) OR the word of the year necklace would simply say “Blessed”.

  380. Kristin says:

Itty Bitty Heart Necklace — That’s the one I’d love to give to my sister for her birthday — I’d have 4 hearts with the initials, A, J, Z & S.

And that jewelry…I would want something with the 3 names or initials of my kids…I gave a similar circle charm to my mom for Christmas…hard to not keep it!…so If I could get my own….hmmmmm
Can’t wait to see pics of that new little one! Congrats again!!!

The giveaway is so cool. I love her necklaces. She is very talented. If I had to pick just one of her necklaces, it would be the “open circle” necklace and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the “Stackable Rings”. I would love to have those since my hubby and I don’t have wedding rings. 😦
    Great giveaway and Thanks Lisa!

just wanted you to know that i’ve been praying for your sweet niece and family since i read your amazing post, ‘she has a story’! i didn’t have a moment to comment then (was bouncing a baby as i read it) but what a beautiful story..and yes, would love to join you in the happy dance!

  392. Megan Carver says:

Oh I am so excited for your family and that sweet little girl who had no idea what she was getting into!!!
It has been an extremely difficult year in my family, after my dad and I both lost jobs (mine pretty traumatically). Through it all, my mom has been a rock, putting up with my dad being home all the time, and giving up part of her house to allow me (her 25 year old daughter who moved out 7 years ago) to move home again in this time. I would love nothing more than to give her a birthday gift truly worthy of her beauty. I haven’t decided which of the necklaces, but they’re all perfect for what I want to say to her. I love you Mom, and thank you!

  393. Stefanie says:

I just happened upon your blog for the first time ever today. Not even sure how I ended up here. My eyes actually teared up when I saw your text message and read the story about your niece. A complete stranger’s story made me cry! Congratulations!!

The Open Circle one is beautiful. She has some gorgeous stuff. 🙂

  396. Jenn Miller says:

I’d either get the “Bloom” necklace or the “Concentric Circles” necklace. Picking out what to put on the circle necklace would be hard becase there’s so much left to the imagination, but that’s why I love it! Thanks for the giveaway!

  397. Laura L. says:

I would choose the necklace called teenie tiny initials. I’d love to wear the initial of each of our children and my husband as well. 🙂

  402. JD says:

Wow, I’m not a girly girly girl jewelry kind of person, but I love her stuff, her style is very simple yet elegant and “from the heart”. Thanks for offering the link!
I fell in love with three pieces, one under $50, the rest above $50.
*Wishes* caught my eye right off the bat — that’s my motto in life — “Don’t curse the weeds, turns weeds to wishes!”
I also love the Faith.Hope.Love one, as well as the Heart in my Hand one.
I just might have to go shopping… I need to get myselve something for Valentine’s day, just incase Dh forgets. It’s so hard for some men to remember VDay, it’s not like it comes up on the same date each year, ya know?
IF I won, although I doubt I would, I’d let you pick something to give to your brand-new-niece, to commemorate this special occasion. Welcome to the family, to the one whose name is the most beautiful I’ve ever, ever heard.

  403. Ang says:
